The safety and security of our consumers, staff, and visitors has always been a major concern of our leadership team. We recently conducted a security assessment with the Franconia Township Police Department which highlighted some areas that we are taking steps to address. The first, and most obvious, change you will notice is the addition of video access controls at our main entrance, TASP door, and Outpatient Center. This will provide an additional measure of safety for the benefit of all staff members, volunteers, and the individuals whom we serve.
Beginning on February 3rd, all visitors must be granted access to the building by ringing a buzzer, located at each of the above-mentioned doors. The operator at the other end of the system will view the visitor on a monitor, ask for their name and the reason for their visit before granting access to the building. Signs will be posted at each door to clarify the procedure and hours of operation.
The new system will work in coordination with our existing key fob system, so all employees will still have normal access to the building.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this transition period as we move to improve the security of our facility.
