INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA will receive sealed Bids for the removal of architectural barriers in a handicapped facility bathroom as delineated in the plans and specifications until 10:00AM. (prevailing time) on the 25th day of October, 2019, at the Indian Creek Foundation Main Office, located at 420 Cowpath Rd, Souderton, PA 18964 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Contract Documents, including Technical Specifications, are on file at the Indian Creek Foundation Main Office, located at 420 Cowpath Rd, Souderton, PA 18964 where they may be inspected at any time during working hours.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained through the Indian Creek Foundation Main Office or via email.
A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materialmen’s Bond.
This Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the CEO or his designee, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage.
Prior to awarding the contract, bids may be held by the Indian Creek Foundation for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders.
All bidders are invited to attend a Pre-bid Meeting to be held at 10:00AM. (prevailing time) on the 11th day of October, 2019, at 634 Old Skippack Rd., Salfordville, PA 18958.
