Invitation for bids

After consulting with the funding source for this project, we have decided to extend the deadline for submissions. This will hopefully allow for more bidders to participate and meet the guidelines for a competitive process.

  • The deadline for submissions is now Wednesday, December 8th at 10AM.
  • A second pre-bid meeting for potential bidders will be held at 10AM on Friday, December 3rd. Attendance at this meeting is required to be eligible to bid.
  • Contractors who attended the meeting on November 12th are not required to attend this meeting. If you attended on 11/12, you have already satisfied this requirement for eligibility.

Sealed bids will be received electronically via PennBid by The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA for the replacement of roofing and siding at one of our ADA accessible residential homes until 10:00AM (prevailing time) on the 23rd day of November 2021, at which time Bids will be opened on the website with results displayed publicly. The roofing and siding projects will be bid separately, and selected bidders may have to coordinate work on the jobsite.

Qualified bidders for the siding project must be certified by the EPA for Residential Repair and Paint (RRP), use certified renovators, and follow lead-safe work practices. A copy of this certification must be submitted with bid documents.

Contract Documents can be obtained at no cost on PennBid.  Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Clarifications” tab on PennBid.
All bidders must attend a Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at 10:00am on November 12th, 2021, at 500 Highland Drive, Perkasie, PA  18944.
